AppleID domain lock canned response

We’re making a change to how @scotch.sa.edu.au Apple IDs work.

Until now, anyone could create and use an Apple ID with our domain and it wasn’t managed or protected by the school. We’re now bringing these Apple IDs under Scotch management so we can better secure them and help with account access and recovery if something goes wrong.

What changes for you?

You’ll sign in to your Scotch Apple ID using your Scotch passkey / Entra login, rather than a separate Apple password.
No action is required unless you’re using an @scotch.sa.edu.au Apple ID on a personal device. If you are, please contact IT to discuss the best way to handle it.
