Apps Scoped to Year Level Self Service
When IT needs to audit or cull apps currently scoped to a specific year level’s Self Service, follow the steps below to see exactly which apps are being deployed.
How to Check Year-Level Scoped Apps in Jamf Pro
1. Assign a Test User from the Correct Year Level
In Jamf Pro:
Devices → Inventory → User and Location → Edit
2. Push Updated Policies to the iPad
Go to the Management tab:
Click Send Blank Push
Click Update Inventory
This forces Jamf to refresh the device’s app scope.
3. View the Apps Scoped to That Year Level
In the same device record:
Management → Apps → “X in scope”
This list shows all apps currently being pushed out to that year level’s Self Service.
