Downloading and installing the Drivers
Navigate to this link, or follow the instructions below to locate to the driver package.
- Navigate to https://epson.com.au.
- Click on the 'For Business' drop down tab and select 'Large Format Printer'.
- Click on the icon for SureColor T-Series.
- Scroll down and select SureColor T5160 - 36".
- Scroll down and select Drivers/Software > Go to Driver Downloads.
- Expand the sub-menu under Driver and download the appropriate driver.
- Follow the prompts to install the driver.
Manually create Printer in Settings on MacOS
By default, when installing the driver package, the printer will install and associate the Air Print driver which has more limited print options. Create a new entry for the printer in settings for the printer and associate the correct driver.
- Open Settings > Printers & Scanners.
- Click Add Printer, Scanner or Fax...
- Select the existing Epson printer and note the name will append a '2' to the entry. I've removed the 2 and added the word 'driver'.
- In the Use: Choose a driver... dropdown, choose select software.
- Select the Epson SC-T5100 Series driver.
- Click add.
