Adding your school provided parent account to Microsoft Authenticator Please note that the following guide is only intended for users who are unable to login to ScotchLife, SEQTA or the Family Portal with their mobile phone number. Instructions on how to login using your mobile phone number are linked here. Email helpdesk@scotch.sa.edu.au and request a Temporary Access Password (TAP) for your account. After our team verifies your identity we'll email you a TAP that will be valid for one use that you may use to sign into Microsoft Authenticator. Download and install Microsoft Authenticator from either the Apple App store or Google Play Store. Optional Step: After launching Microsoft Authenticator, please remove any existing Scotch College accounts, eg; 12345@scotch.sa.edu.au Tap on your school provided parent account. Tap the settings cog icon in the top right corner of your devices display. Tap Remove account. Add or re-add your Scotch College parent provided account by tapping the '+' button in the top right hand corner of the app or by choosing add account. Choose Work or School Account when asked about the kind of account you are adding. Tap 'sign-in' and then enter your school provided parent email address, eg; 12345@scotch.sa.edu.au. Now enter the TAP that you received from our IT team and click 'sign in'. Follow the prompts to complete signing in and finish adding your School provided account to Microsoft Authenticator. If prompted: Enable Autofill Skip device registration You should now be able to sign in to the ScotchLife app using your school provided parent email address and your password.
