SACE Student Exam Information
As we approach examinations, it is timely to remind you of some key organisational points:
- Please arrive at the chapel 5 minutes before entry time
- All bags (back packs and tote bags) must be left in your lockers
- Mobile phones must also be left in your locker or placed in the box at the front of the chapel
- All laptops need to be fully charged upon arrival - there is no access to power points throughout the exam
Headphones:
- Headphones of any type are not permitted into the examination room unless your exam requires a listening piece.
- The headphones must be wired. Bluetooth headphones are not permitted.
- Please ensure that the student plug in the headphones to their device before starting the electronic examination and test they are working.
Once plugged in the student should open the SACE exam browser use the audio test page to adjust the volume.
- You must take off your headphones when you are not listening to this content, but do not unplug them from your device.
Mathematics:
- Notes pages (cheat sheets) must be handwritten. They cannot be photocopied, nor can they be stuck together.
Any notes pages that do not meet the requirement, will not be permitted to be used throughout the exam.
- For General Mathematics and Essential Mathematics, you may bring one unfolded A4 sheet (two sides) of your own handwritten notes.
- For Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics, you may bring two unfolded A4 sheets (four sides) of your own handwritten notes.
