Converting HEIC photos to JPG on iOS (iPhone or iPad)
This guide explains how to convert photos taken on your iPhone or iPad to a .jpg format when sharing with other staff who are not using Apple devices.
- On your iPhone or iPad, AirDrop the photos you wish to convert to your Mac.
- When accepting the airdrop on your Mac, ensure you select save to Downloads.
- Select all the photos you wish to convert and right click to bring up the context menu. Select Quick Options > Convert Image
- In the new window that appears, leave the default options selected and select Convert to JPEG.
- Your converted files will appear in the same folder, with the same name. You can now email your photos ending in .JPEG to any staff members who are not using Apple devices.
